LOCKDOWN RESULTS IN 'LUNAR' BASS COVER

Due to the current lockdown state of the United Kingdom in response to the Covid-19 virus, musicians across the country have taken to using social media more heavily in order to reach their audiences. South Wales modern metal band Equinox released their debut track 'LUNAR earlier this year, and their bassist Aaron Busby has produced and released a cover of the track on both Instagram and Facebook.

XL LIFE 'SWEET MOVES' RELEASING APRIL 27TH

Cardiff based hardcore punk band XL LIFE. Comprising of Phillip 'Traxx' Davies (solo artist/founder of ASTROID BOYS), Lewis Newbrook (ASTROID BOYS), Jasper Gaskin (TJ ROBERTS) and Tony Bontana (founder of Everything Is Perfect Records), this four piece fuse memorable riffs and pounding rhythms into a cacophony of noise and energy. 'ŻYCIE' DEBUT EP DELAYED UNTIL OCTOBER 2020

Bristol prog punk newcomers 'ŻYCIE' have announced that due to current state of the UK, they will not be releasing their debut EP 'SYMPTOM OF ME' until "around October this year". The British-Polish outfit, consisting of Andrzej 'Andrew' Dworaczyk and Nathan Butler formed in 2019 after both finding an interest in bands such as Black Flag, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Corrosion Of Comformity. The duo sought to combine this with Dworaczyk's folk background, creating a blend of atmospheric guitars, tribal rhythms and harrowing, strangely sparse vocals.

FLOOD FUNDRAISER MARCH 9TH

VERSIFY will be playing The Moon Cardiff on March 9th in the form of a fundraiser. All proceeds will go to the restoration and sustaining of Clwb Y Bont and The Green Rooms, which were devastated during the flooding caused by Storm Dennis.

IMMERSED FESTIVAL 2020

In collaboration and in support of Teenage Cancer Trust, students from the University of South Wales have worked to set up a festival aimed at showcasing the music of Cardiff and South Wales. The headliners include RICHARD ASHCROFT, TOM GRENNAN and BAD SOUNDS, with many other bands playing, such as CLWB FUZZ, BLOOM!, FRENCH ALPS TIGER, VERSIFY, SHLUG, DAN HAM, ADWAITH, BOY AZOOGA and many many more. Event takes place at The Tramshed Cardiff on January 30th at 4pm.
